Love2Learn has slashed the pricing on their Critical Thinking subjects, so that your family can benefit from being exposed to this critical (excuse the pun!) aspect of a child’s education.

“Today’s education is almost a direct inversion of the old classical emphasis on how to think and what to do; the political and vocational emphases of today’s education teach students, not how to think and what to do, but what to think and how to do.
Its political goal is to use schools to change culture, and its practical goal is to change students to fit the culture.” ~With acknowledgement to Martin Cothran, “What is Classical Education”, Memoria Press.

Love2Learn has been offering Critical Thinking as an enrichment subject for more than a decade already!

Children are naturally inquisitive from infancy, yet creative and problem-solving skills need to be nurtured as children grow. Like literacy and numeracy skills, critical thinking skills require practice. The variety of fun and creative activities in the resources we offer, challenge your child to use higher-order thinking skills based on Bloom’s Taxonomy.

Using a host of interesting activities, Critical Thinking helps your child:

  • Think outside the box and use higher-order thinking skills through open-ended questions and challenges
  • Tap into his or her creativity with art projects and hands-on activities
  • Become a better learner by practicing critical thinking skills in cross-curricular activities (based on science, math, social studies, and language arts content)
