A structured and easy-to-teach course. Recommended for students from Grade 6 upwards. This is the final year of a complete six year primary computing course that takes a real-life, project based approach to teaching young learners the vital computing skills they will need for the digital world. Each unit builds a series of skills towards the creation of a final project, with topics ranging from designing your own robot to programming simple games and creating an online yearbook. If you have NOT previously done any Computing (or Computers or Computer Science) we strongly recommend you complete Grades 4 and 5 Computing prior to starting this course. To be able to cover the required work, we suggest you do Grades 4 and 5 together this year, then Grades 6 and 7 together next year.
PLEASE NOTE: The Student Book and Teacher Guide are SECOND Editions.
Extra Student TEXTBOOKS can be ordered separately if you have SIBLINGS or ADDITIONAL students who are not able to share.
